Stock highways in Transport Fever 3 are one-way, so a highway with traffic in both directions means building two roads side by side, one at a time. Double Highways adds two buttons to the highway builder: Double builds twice the lanes in one drag, and Opposite directions decides whether the second half runs the other way (a full two-way highway) or the same way (a wider one-way highway).

Works with all six stock highways: small, medium and large, with or without barriers.
A double highway costs twice as much to build and to run as the single one.
With Double off, the highway builder works exactly as before.
