Transport Fever 2 - ADL Enviro500MMC 3-Door – Switzerland

About ADL Enviro500MMC 3-door:
Same as other buses in Enviro500-series, this 3-Door version is also a 3-axle low-floor double decker bus, but it has 3 doors and 2 staircases to balance capacity and passenger loading speed. To drive a 13 meters 26 tones body, a Cummins L9 370hp Euro-6 engine with ZF EcoLife transmission is equipped.

PostAuto Enviro500MMC is the first lot of 3-door version operating around the world. This concept was first shown to public in 2016 as part of Land Transport Authority’s Out Bus Journey Carnival at Ngee Ann City, Singapore. Two configurations are available, one with 127 passenger capacity as a city bus, one with 117 capacity as interurban/countryside bus.

PostAuto placed an order of 19 vehicles which started service from 2017. 2 years later, another Switzerland public transportation company, Transports publics de la région lausannoise, bought 13 vehicles with similar configurations to replace their old buses from 2019.
