Transport Fever 2 - Palace of Culture and Science (PKiN)
Palace of Culture and Science (Pałac Kultury i Nauki; abbreviated PKiN), is a notable high-rise building in central Warsaw, Poland.
With a total height of 237 meters (778 feet) it is the second tallest building in Poland and the 6th tallest in the European Union.
Constructed in 1955, it houses various public and cultural institutions such as cinemas, theaters, libraries, sports clubs, university faculties and authorities of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
Motivated by Polish historical architecture and American Art Deco high-rise buildings, the PKiN was designed by Soviet Russian architect Lev Rudnev in "Seven Sisters" style and is informally referred to as the Eighth Sister. The Palace was also the tallest clock tower in the world until the installation of a clock mechanism on the NTT Docomo Yoyogi Building in Tokyo, Japan.
Author of the model is NikodemSroga who you can find on CG Trader website. I have modified the building architecturally slightly, textured the whole landmark and brought it over to TpF2.
It is located in Art Deco category (colorful icon) in the assets menu and available from year 1955. It also has 100 Zombies capacity (INDUSTRIAL) so it will create new JOBS in the inner city.
