INTRODUCTION
The Newag Dragon 2 is an electric locomotive built by the Polish manufacturer Newag. It is designed to haul heavy freight up to 4500 tons. The Newag Dragon 2 (2018) is the successor to the Newag Dragon (2009), which was Poland’s first self-built electric locomotive since 1990.
