Transport Fever 2 - MR 4-4-0 Class 60

I put far too much effort into this one

These engines appear to be quite hard to research, as searching for ‘Midland 4-4-0’ brings you either the far older Class 2 4-4-0s or the array of larger ones (like Killakanz’s mod).

From what I can gather these were the Midland ‘Class 60’, bundled into Class 2 under the LMS, along with the older Class 2 and a bunch of other similar 4-4-0s.

These engines are sort of a ‘missing link’ between the Johnson ‘Spinner’ 4-2-2 and the Fowler and larger ‘belpaire’ models, like No. 1000 compound and the LMS 2P and 4P classes.

The engine features a Johnson boiler and firebox with a new Midland style smokebox door. The tender is old Midland but the cab is starting to look more modern.

I struggled to find statistics for this model, so I balanced this engine between my Spinner mod and Killakanz’s 483 class mod.

Some more versions of this engine may be added to this mod, as I am also sitting on a Fowler tender that goes with the loco and I think there was a very similar outside cylindered model that existed, but as I said, information is scarce.
