Transport Fever 2 - LNWR Precursor 4-4-0

These large 4-4-0 locomotives were developed for the LNWR by their new CME George Whale. Known as the Precursors, these engines were the new top guns for the LNWR, taking over what would have been double headed trains of old 2-4-0 classes.

The Precursors went into the grouping under the LMS, one of the few LNWR classes to do so, as most of the LMS stock was comprised of old Midland designs.

Capable of high speeds and a fair share of power, these locomotives soon found themselves on freight and other duties.
