Transport Fever 2 - GySEV 5047/5147

Due to the great success of the railcars at the ÖBB, the Raab-Ödenburger-Ebenfurter-Eisenbahn (RoeEE / GySEV) acquired a class 5047.5 railcar and a double railcar of the 5147.5 series in 1991. These used the non-electrified GySEV routes, but also the adjacent ÖBB routes, often together with the structurally identical ÖBB railcars.

In 2011 the Raaberbahn bought 7 5047 and all (5) 5147 from the ÖBB. For a while, these were still in the old (ÖBB) color scheme.

From 2020 a double unit 1446/2446 was rented to the passenger transport division of the Hungarian State Railways (MAV Start) and redesigned to the MAV design.
