Tatra-815 is an extensive family of Czech-made trucks, which has been present on the world market since the beginning of the 80s. In the Soviet Union, dump trucks of this model were very popular and, until recently, firmly held the lead in the list of export trucks.
Tatra-815 is characterized by a non-standard design that has never been used in trucks of other brands.
The first “club-footed” Czech dump trucks Soviet drivers reacted with obvious distrust. Which soon gave way to a rather warm and friendly attitude.
