RDR2 - American Viper

American Viper aims to bring the darker tones of Red Dead’s story to an illustrative form by giving the game a darker tone with less saturated lighting.

American Viper was built off of Project Schofield. My second preset that I’ve made and there were some issues with it. Colour correction would make the game a different colour, bloom was too strong, and looked too saturated. This fixes all those issues above. There is no bloom, colour correction is fixed, and less saturation.

What you should expect from American Viper is it will allow the game to illustrate its themes of death, loss, rejecting change, a family being torn apart by greed etc. Blood will be darker, blacks are better illustrated, better sharpening to pronounce more unnoticed details, and the lighting is more cold and crude with how it interacts with the environment.
