The John Deere 7020 and 7520 4WD tractors, produced in the early 1970s, were among the company’s first articulated four-wheel-drive models, designed for serious power and performance on large-scale farms. Featuring robust 6-cylinder diesel engines—150 hp in the 7020 and 175 hp in the 7520—these tractors delivered strong pulling power and exceptional traction across challenging terrains. Known for their durability and heavy-duty construction, they quickly became trusted workhorses in the field, marking a significant step forward in John Deere’s evolution of high-horsepower farming equipment.
