City Car Driving 1.5.9 – Nissan Skyline GT-R 33

In August 1993, the base model Skyline undergoes another rebirth, and the 9th generation is born. However, the Skyline GT-R continues to be produced and sold as the R32 model. Only in January 1995 did the generation change to BCNR33.

Starting with the R33, the Skyline was no longer fitted with 4-cylinder engines. The base engine was now a 2-liter “six” RB20E. The RB25DE and RB25DET engines had variable valve timing.
